The Yolo County Coroner has identified the victim of yesterday’s accidental death as Miguel Peñuelas, a resident of Dixon. The investigation has confirmed that Peñuelas climbed into a dumpster on his own accord around 4:30am and covered himself with cardboard. He remained in the dumpster until a garbage truck arrived around 5:30am. 

A preliminary medical examination conducted by the Yolo County Coroner shows no sign of foul play. Dixon Police are continuing to investigate and believe the death to be accidental.
