At approximately 2:00 AM this morning, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office and the California Highway Patrol (CHP) were in pursuit of a stolen vehicle when the suspect entered the City of Dixon. In the area of Newgate Way and Stratford Avenue, the suspect exited the vehicle and fled on foot.

Dixon patrol officers assisted by establishing a perimeter, and a CHP helicopter aided in the search for the suspect. At approximately 3:17 AM, the suspect was located and taken into custody.
