The Dixon Police Department is providing an update on the ongoing investigation into the deceased male discovered on August 3, 2024 in the 1300 block of Hazelwood Court. 

After further investigation, it appears that the death may have been accidental. However, the investigation is still ongoing as we work to determine the exact cause of death and the circumstances surrounding this incident.
