The Dixon Police Department is investigating a shooting incident that occurred earlier today in the 400 block of West F shortly after 3:00 PM.

Two individuals suffered non-life-threatening injuries and drove themselves to the hospital for treatment.

There is no ongoing threat to public safety. The Dixon Police Department assures the community that this incident appears contained.
