I have honorably served Dixon for over 36 years as a Law Enforcement professional (40 years total service), a city council member (8 years) and your current Mayor (4 years). During my tenure I have brokered positive and productive relationships throughout our region. As a public servant, I have earned a reputation for being quick to listen, careful to speak and calm with my responses to those served. I will always strive to bring unity to our diverse community by bringing people together. This will be guided by my sound personal ethics and knowledge of our community and a 55 year relationship with the residents of Solano County.
I have been an active supporter and volunteer locally with service groups, our youth, veterans, seniors and the farm community. I serve on boards/committees for many organizations both local and regionally such as Solano Transportation Authority (STA), Solano County Water Authority (SCWA), Solano Water Authority (SWA), Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO), Dixon Regional Watershed JPA, Dixon Resource Conservation District (DRCD) Solano Sub-Basin Groundwater Sustainability Agency, Travis Regional Armed Forces Committee (TRAFC) and Travis Community Consortium (TCC) to name a few. I am Active with Rotary International, the League of CA Cities (serve of Public Safety Committee), a member of the Solano County Farm Bureau and life member of the Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs (APAPA) organization.
The safety, well being and future of our community are paramount to me, As your Mayor I have drawn on my professional management experience to ensure the highest quality of reliable public services and public safety are afforded to our community, while also being fair to our city employees with reasonable compensation in order to attract and retain quality city staff. I do this with transparency and responsibly managing our city budget, in order to keep our community vibrant and prosperous for both you, as residents and all of our local and small business partners to make Dixon what it is.
I am honored to be serving you.
