Building Permit Fees *

Annual updates to the Master Fee Schedule were adopted by the City Council (Resolution No 23-082) on April 18, 2023, and updated fees below became effective on July 1, 2023. Fee schedules below show both the current fee (thru June 30, 2023) and the new fee (effective 7/1/23). Fees are applied based on the application date of the permit. Please refer the the applicable column based on effective date. IMPORTANT, starting September16, 2024, the new building division fees will apply to all permits submitted on or after that date. See City Council Resolution No 23-214 below for the new fee schedule after September 16th.

The City updated the Building Permit, Fire Permit and Technology fee on November 7, 2023 (City Council Resolution No 23-214). The Building Permit fee update was approved, but implementation of the fees were deferred to coincide with the launch of the new permit tracking software, which will be September 16, 2024). For budling permits submitted on or after September 16, 2024, the new building division fees will be applicable to permits. For permits submitted and in process prior to September 15, 2024, the old fee schedule will be applicable. See www.cityofdixon.us/buildingdivision for more information, under the "news" heading


City of Dixon Impact Fees *

Development Impact (AB 1600) Fees are updated annually. The most recent update was approved by the City Council (Resolution No. 24-012), on January 16, 2024 and became effective March 16, 2024. The new fees are effective for any new building permit applied for on or after the effective date. Projects that have already summited a complete building permit application prior to the new effective date, are subject to the AB 1600 fees in place at the time of their application. Solano County Impact Fees *

The City serves as a pass thru to the County impact fees which are adopted and established by Solano County. the current County impact fees can be viewed here Solano County Facilities Fee (PDF)
 
* Please note, there is a $5,000 limit on all credit card transactions. Any building permit/impact fee total that exceeds $5,000 must be paid by check or cash.
